Finlen Hotel & Kaisa to Canada

We went to beautiful Canada earlier this month for Grandma and Grandad’s 50th Anniversary. They live in Medicine Hat, the Gas City and home of the World’s Largest TeePee. Kaisa only got fussy when she was hungry but we had a bottle with a long straw to the nipple and it took her a loooong time to finish it. She slept most of the time and looked something like this:

It was long, but great. Kaisa had been so good when we went down to Arizona but we didn’t want to press our luck so we made a stop halfway in Butte, Montana at the Finlen Hotel. We also stopped there on our return trip too. We arrived late and were greeted with a friendly face. I’m glad we had reservations because when I called earlier that day to make them they didn’t ask for a phone number or anything. The room was clean and basic, but hey, it was one of the cheapest places in Butte. The lobby was great and they had wireless internet but for some reason it wouldn’t let me connect… meh. It was in the heart of downtown Butte and I wish we were there during business hours because some of the local shops looked interesting.

We had “5 generation pictures” taken that will get posted when we get them back. Josh Nagy (Niki‘s fiance) took most of the pictures and is an expert behind the camera. We also gave Grandma & Grandad a beautiful book which was put together mostly by my wonderful sister Rachel
